Blaze II is a semi-custom Sunreef 62: quick under sail, steady in a seaway, and finished throughout in American cherry wood and cream leather. There is a teak cockpit for dining outside, a flybridge for the view, and trampolines forward to lie on while the boat sails.
Owner & Skipper
Blaze II is owned and skippered by Capt. Kim. She plans and sails every leg of the expedition herself, with a full-time crew of three looking after the boat and everyone aboard.
You are welcome in the cockpit and at the chart table. Take a turn on watch, learn how the boat works, or leave the sailing to the crew entirely.
Every Voyage
The same comes with every leg: your cabin, the crew of three, and all meals aboard. Take a cabin to yourself, or share it with one other guest.
Good to Know

The expedition runs from October 15 to December 22, 2026, in four legs: Maui to Tahiti, through the Society Islands, out across the Tuamotus to the Marquesas, then home to Maui. The boat is out of the water for scheduled maintenance from November 2 to 9, with no guests aboard.
About twenty minutes. The crew goes through the route and dates for your leg, what life aboard is like day to day, and what to bring. If you would like to go ahead, they hold your cabin then and there.
Six guests at most, in three cabins, with a crew of three. You can take a cabin to yourself, or share it with one other guest.
None at all. Blaze II is fully crewed and Capt. Kim is in command. You are welcome to stand a watch and learn how everything works, or leave the sailing entirely to the crew.
All three guest cabins are the same: a double bed and a private bathroom with a separate shower, finished in warm cherry wood and cream leather.
Yes. Any legs can be combined, and the full voyage takes all four in a single booking. The maintenance week from November 2 to 9 is spent ashore.
